Rachel's homemade Granola Recipe

Photo

First if all, let me tell I love this stuff!! Here is Rachel's recipe, hope you enjoy.

1. Mix 1 large canister of Old Fashioned Oats, almounds, unsweetened coconut, sunflower seeds, and flax seeds. Depending on how much you want to spend and whether we want a real nutty batch we just throw tons of these things in the mixing pot.
Sometimes if Rachel is going to use bannana chips she will add walnuts durring this step.

2. So take all these things and take equal parts of Olive Oil, melted natural Peanut butter, maple syrup, and honey.

3. Mix the wet part with the dry part so that everything you have is naturally coated.

4. Pre heat the oven 325. Rachel takes a big roasting pan and fills the pan about a quarter inch deep with everything. You could use a baking dish but just make sure that you don't put to much granola in the pan.

So place your Pan filled with goodness in the oven for 20 minutes. Stir the mix every 5 minutes. Doing this will help your batch not get to sticky.

5. Once you think its toasty enough, take it out of the oven. This is when Rachel fills the pan with raisins, dats, dried berries, cranberrys, and bannana chips... but really any kind of dried fruit will do.

There... I hope this helps! You can't go wrong eating this. Its filled with good protien, carbs, and it's freakin delish!
